Recycling with 11 Cares

Edgar Snyder & Associates is a proud partner of 11 Cares WPXI. Their mission is to use their platform to bring awareness to community events and efforts that impact the Pittsburgh area. One way that they do so is by participating in an annual “Hard to Recycle Item Collections” that is held by the Pennsylvania Resources Council. This event allows the public to drop off items that are not eligible for curbside recycling i.e. televisions, cellphones, polystyrene, tires, and more.

Edgar Snyder & Associates COO/CLO & Firm Owner Christine Zaremski-Young volunteered at this event held on May 17,2025.

“We're so proud to be here at the Pennsylvania Resource Council because this event keeps hazardous materials outside of our landfills, outside of our waterways, and outside of our area, and through the Pennsylvania Resource Council, they have been able to safely manage over 18 million pounds of hazardous material.”- Christine Zaremski-Young
