Edgar Snyder Stone Special at North Shore Tavern
Looking for a tasty meal on Pittsburgh’s North Shore? Edgar Snyder has got you covered!
This month’s Pittsburgh Today Live’s (PTL) law segment “Straight to the Point,” highlights Edgar Snyder & Associates’ partnership with North Shore Tavern. PTL reporter Daisy Jade joins the firm’s Chief Marketing Officer & Owner, Rob Fisher, at North Shore Tavern to try one of the restaurant’s famous stone specials.
For those unfamiliar, North Shore Tavern’s stone specials feature protein cooked in front of you on a lava granite rock heated to 850 degrees Fahrenheit! The Edgar Snyder Stone Special changes monthly, featuring a new protein to keep things fun and fresh for customers. Additionally, a portion of the proceeds from the special is donated to a different charity every month.
Daisy asks Rob, “Why did you decide to have this special?”
“Firstly, we started it because our office moved to the North Shore, right across from PNC Park. Our goal is to always give back to the community in any way that we can,” Rob says. “It’s been our marketing team’s dream to have a sandwich or a special for the firm, so we are happy to be partnering with North Shore Tavern.”
Daisy and Rob begin their meal — a surf and turf combo — while continuing to discuss the details of the special.
“Every month, the special changes and a part of the dish’s proceeds go to a different charity,” Rob explains. “Then we match those charitable donations.”
Rob and Daisy continue bantering as they cook their steak on the stone.
“I love how you guys always connect with the community, because you really are such a staple here in Pittsburgh,” Daisy says.
“The goal of Edgar Snyder is to help people,” Rob replies. “We do that by representing people when they’re hurt, but more than that, we try to give back to the community in creative ways — like food for example.”
Charities that we’ve supported during this program include:
- Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank
- Special Olympics PA

Coming up, we will be partnering with The Heyward House, which we’ve supported for 10 years.
