Keil
Before he began practicing law, Attorney Douglas Keil worked as a youth tutor/ mentor as part of the KEYS Service Corps of AmeriCorps, coordinating various community service projects and tutoring/mentoring high school students in the Pittsburgh Public School system. Attorney Keil has the unique experience and perspective of representing both personal injury plaintiffs and defendants, which provides him an advantage when protecting injury victims in and around Western PA.
Doug earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Legal Studies from the University of Pittsburgh, where he was a member of the Alpha Sigma Lambda Leadership Fraternity, Golden Key International Honor Society, and the University of Pittsburgh’s Emerging Leaders Program. His Juris Doctor is from the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law, where he was elected Public Service Chair of the Student Bar Association, selected to serve as an executive member on the Moot Court Board, and selected as a volunteer educator and mentor for the Street Law magnet program.
Outside of work, Doug enjoys spending time with his wife and two boys while coaching youth sports and mentoring young athletes. Doug maintains a healthy, active lifestyle marked by exercise and productivity, while also finding joy in cooking and reading.
