Attorney Bowers has dedicated her entire legal career to the practice of workers' compensation in Pennsylvania. Before joining ESA, she spent over 20 years representing employers and insurance companies.

Attorney Bowers is a native of Johnstown, Pennsylvania. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown, graduating magna cum laude. She then proceeded to her law degree from Duquesne University in 2002.  She is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania and West Virginia.  

Attorney Bowers has served as a panelist at the Pennsylvania Bar Association's Workers' Compensation Fall Section Meeting several times, providing her insight on the complexities of work-related mental injuries.

She was listed in Pennsylvania Super Lawyers Rising Stars list from 2008 to 2017. This is an exclusive list, recognizing the top 2.5% of attorneys in Pennsylvania who are either 40 years old or younger or in practice for 10 years or less.

Outside of work, Carrie enjoys gardening and spending time with her daughter!

Attorney Bowers is a supporter of Kids Chance of Pennsylvania, a nonprofit organization that provides scholarship grants for college and vocational education to children of Pennsylvania workers who have been killed or seriously injured in a work-related accident resulting in financial need.
