Pittsburgh Steelwheelers
For years, Edgar Snyder & Associates has participated in a 5k in support of the Pittsburgh Steelwheelers, hosted by the Western Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association. Recently, we wanted to increase our involvement with the Steelwheelers, so we became the sponsor of their annual Adaptive Rugby Tournament.
What is Pittsburgh Steelwheelers?
Pittsburgh Steelwheelers, Inc. is a non-profit organization that provides competitive sports programs for physically challenged athletes from Western Pennsylvania, Eastern Ohio and Northern West Virginia. By participating in wheelchair rugby, wheelchair basketball and hand cycling, Pittsburgh Steelwheelers, Inc. provides an opportunity for those with disabilities to achieve a regained sense of well-being and fulfillment.
Steel City Slam Wheelchair Rugby Tournament
Each year, the Pittsburgh Steelwheelers host a tournament that draws wheelchair rugby teams from all over the country. They also give fans and interested players the opportunity to learn more about the sport. Edgar Snyder & Associates was proud to be the primary sponsor of the 2022 Steel City Slam.

How You Can Help
In order for the Steelwheelers to accomplish this mission, financial assistance through various fundraising endeavors is essential. The money raised helps to fund thet ravel and equipment costs of competition for the wheelchair basketball, rugby and hand cycling teams and to enable the organization to attract new participants by purchasing needed equipment.
