Mobile Investigation Unit

Meet the Edgar Snyder & Associates Mobile Investigation Unit
At our law firm, we have our very own team of investigators who collect evidence to prove your case. It's not something you'll find at most law firms, and we take great pride in our investigators' hard work to help clients.
The newest member of our investigations team doesn't have two legs but rather has four wheels -- meet the Edgar Snyder & Associates Mobile Investigations Unit, otherwise known as the MIU. It's a state-of-the-art investigations vehicle that allows us to better serve to our clients.
The Mobile Investigation Unit

Who knows, you might even spot this 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee on the road. It's equipped with added safety features and extras needed to get our investigators into the field. Once they're out there, they begin documenting your case using the best equipment to collect evidence at the scene of the accident.
With the help of our new mobile investigations unit (MIU), investigators are able to reach the accident scene more swiftly and safely. Our MIU is equipped with 4-wheel drive to compete with all the adverse weather conditions Western Pennsylvania has to offer. The fact that the MIU is easier to spot is also important.
It's not unusual for our investigators to collect evidence in the middle of busy roadways. The MIU's increased visibility is a key factor in allowing our investigators the space and safety they need to complete their jobs. With flashing safety lights and reflective paint, it provides passing vehicles with a clear, distinguishable warning that our investigators are at work. That allows motorists to take the proper driving precautions to keep everyone safe.

What Our Investigation Team Does for You
We always urge injury victims to call our law firm as soon as possible if they might have a case. Why? Because evidence disappears and witnesses can be hard to track down – roadways are fixed, weather conditions change, and vehicles get repaired. It's crucial that we send out our team of investigators as soon as possible so we don't miss a thing when it comes to proving your case.
Once our investigators arrive, they get right to work examining the accident scene, searching for valuable evidence. Here's a sampling of what they do:
- Taking pictures of the accident scene
- Documenting damage to vehicles, property, and more
- Interviewing witnesses
- Collecting essential physical evidence
- And more
Our investigators collectively have decades of experience assembling the building blocks of injury cases. With their experience and knowledge, the evidence for your case is in good hands. Paul DeStefano, the investigation department's manager, was a Lieutenant with the Pennsylvania State Police for 27 years before joining our law firm. He knows just what's at stake after your accident.
