“What Makes Me Happy” Coloring Contest

Coloring Contest Winners

For 40 years, Edgar Snyder & Associates has represented thousands of children seriously injured in all types of accidents. We continually see first-hand how this impacts children and their families.

To help children this holiday season, we initiated the "What Makes Me Happy" coloring contest. We asked kids treated at area hospitals, as well as those attending schools for children with special needs, to draw something that makes them smile and lifts their spirits. Our panel of judges included local artists, children's art teachers, and professionals who work with children.

Becca Van Why, a 9-year-old from Apollo, Pa., was the grand prize winner. Her artwork is featured on the law firm's 2004 holiday card cover, and she won a shopping spree at Toys "R" Us. In Becca's honor, Edgar Snyder & Associates donated $1,000 to Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh.
