Rear-Facing Car Seat

Law states no preference.

Car Seat

Children ages 7 and under and less than 57 inches in height must be properly restrained in an appropriate child safety seat.

Booster Seat

Children ages 7 and under and less than 57 inches in height must be properly restrained in an appropriate child safety seat.

Seat Belt

Children ages 7 and under and less than 57 inches in height must be properly restrained in an appropriate child safety seat. Children under 17 must use a safety belt.

Seating Position

Law states no preference.

Fines & Penalties

Maximum fine for first offense is $25 and up to $250 for subsequent offenses.
