Meet Us Monday – Jennifer L. Webster

Ready to get the week started? We are! Check out our latest addition to Meet Us Mondays. This week we had a chat with Jennifer L. Webster, an experienced trial attorney here at ESA.
Where did you grow up? Where do you live now?
I grew up in Latrobe, PA and now live in Bethel Park.
Explain your role like you would to a 5-year-old:
I go to court and help people who get hurt when other people or companies break the rules.
What would your teenage self think about your job now?
She would probably get a kick out of it since my sister and I used to act out the Edgar Snyder commercials as kids.
Do you have any hobbies or weird collections?
I paint, mainly in oils and acrylics. Most of the art in our home is my own work.
Do you have any pets? What are their names?
Yes, a dog named Crosby!

What are your favorite books, movies, tv shows, restaurants, etc.?
My favorite restaurant in Pittsburgh is probably Casbah, on South Highland. One of my favorite books is The Edge by Howard Ferguson. Growing up, my dad, the consummate coach, would read me quotes out of that book. I'm also kind of a trial nerd. I read lots of books on jury selection, trial tactics and courtroom skills. The psychology of jurors is fascinating to me.
If you weren't doing this job, what would you be doing?
Probably teaching. Both of my parents were teachers and I love mentoring and helping others learn.
