Take-a-Cab Program Helps New Year's Eve Partygoers Get Home Safely

The numbers are in. The "Take-a-Cab, We'll Pay the Tab" program enabled 184 Blair County residents to make it home safe and sound, and able to look forward to a bright 2015.

As part of an effort to reduce alcohol-related car accidents during the holiday season, the "Take-a-Cab" program provides free cab rides so party-goers don't resort to buzzed or drunk driving after a night out celebrating the New Year. Our law firm has been a proud sponsor of the "Take-a-Cab" program for over 15 years.

The "Take-a-Cab" Program is made available through the support of Pyramid Healthcare, Blair County Drug & Alcohol Partnerships, the law offices of Edgar Snyder & Associates, and WTAJ-TV 10. The program provided 92 free rides home in Blair County from 10 PM – 3 AM on Wednesday, December 31.
