"My Holiday Wish" Contest Ends

2014 "My Holiday Wish" Coloring Contest Comes to a Close
Over 700 elementary school students submitted their illustrations for Edgar Snyder & Associates' 2014 "My Holiday Wish" coloring contest, and they were fantastic!
We've been holding our coloring contest for 10 years, and this is always the hardest part – picking our winners.
Luckily, we brought in 4 judges from the surrounding areas to weigh in and select our winners. It was a difficult process – because each and every picture was so good – but we finally found our winners, and we'll announce them soon.
Our Local Expert Judges
We'd like to thank this year's judges, who were both well qualified and extremely excited to be a part of the selection process. This year's judges were:
- Ruth Bedeian – Retired Pittsburgh Public Schools Art Teacher
- Ing Kalchthaler – Children's Librarian at Shaler North Hills Library
- Myrna Rosen – Adjunct professor in Carnegie Mellon's School of Design and Internationally-Recognized Calligraphy Artist.
- Becky Willis – A local mother and Mommy-Blogger over at 'lil Burghers
We truly appreciate the hard work of these fantastic women and for lending us their artistic eyes while selecting our 4 winners.
Announcing the Winning Artists Soon
We'll be announcing our winners shortly. The prizes for this year's coloring contests are as follows:
- Grand Prize Winner: One winner receives a $1,000 donation to his/her school, a $250 Visa gift card for themselves, will have their artwork featured on the cover of our law firm's 2014 Holiday Card, and will also be featured on a billboard in their community.
- Three Runners-Up: Three runner-up winners will receive $1,000 donations to their schools, $100 gift cards for themselves, and their artwork will be featured on the back of our law firm's Holiday Card.
