Don't Miss Our Next Episode of "No Fee TV" on Slip and Fall Accidents

Of the many types of cases our law firm handles, ‘slip and fall' cases may be some of the less familiar. Many people don't understand what a slip and fall case is, or what types of accidents fall into that category.

‘Slips and fall' cases – also known as premises liability cases – are cases where a person slipped, tripped, or fell on another person's property. A person, company, or the government may own the property.

Common places that slips, trips, and falls occur include:

  • Sidewalks, driveways, and curbs
  • Homes of family, friends, and neighbors
  • Driveways, parking lots, and parking garages
  • Elevators and escalators
  • Public restrooms, gyms, and pools
  • Shopping centers and grocery stores
  • Restaurants, bars, and clubs
  • And more

Slips and falls occur quite often, but unfortunately, it can be very difficult to prove who was to blame and get victims the compensation they deserve. There are a lot of insurance details to consider, and the legal process can be complicated. Plus, it's easy to think you won't be seriously injured if you slip and fall in a grocery store or trip and fall down a flight of unsafe stairs. Unfortunately, these types of injuries could be life-changing.

That's why our next episode of "No Fee TV" is devoted to slip and fall accidents.

Attorney Cynthia Danel, a partner at our law firm, and Brennan Hurley, an insurance agent at Hurley Insurance Brokers, Inc., will join host Shelley Duffy to discuss ways to protect your legal rights, how to collect evidence after a slip and fall accident, how to prevent slip and fall accidents at your home, and more. I encourage you to call in with questions at 412-333-PCNC.

The show will air from 7:30-8pm, and again on Saturday, May 18, from 12:30-1pm. Local cable channels include:

  • Comcast, Channel 35
  • Armstrong, Channel 31 and 41
  • Atlantic Broadband, Channel 63
  • Verizon Fios, Channel 9

You can also check out our law firm's slip and fall accident section on the website for more information. I hope you enjoy the show!
