I've always said that auto insurance is very confusing, and many of our attorneys agree. Several of them have even said that they wouldn't understand Pennsylvania insurance laws if it wasn't their job and they didn't deal with them every day.
The reality, however, is that car insurance affects all drivers, passengers, pedestrians, and cyclists. As a driver, you are required to have insurance coverage. You make choices regarding your coverage options, even if you don't fully understand how they may or may not protect you.
