Western PA High School Seniors: Win up to $5,000 for College in Our "Words to be Heard" Scholarship Contest

Are you are a high school senior in Western PA? Would you like a chance to win $5,000 for college? If so, there's still time to enter our 7th Annual "Words to be Heard" scholarship contest. Not only can you win money for college, "Words to be Heard" gives you the chance to make a difference.

A few questions you may have:

What are the prizes?

We'll award one grand prize scholarship of $5,000, three $2,500 scholarships, and three $1,000 scholarships.

What counts as an entry?

Entrants must submit both of the following items to be eligible:

1. A completed application including a recent photo

2. A presentation (video/PowerPoint/brochure/website /essay/or use your imagination) that discourages your peers from underage drinking and drunk driving OR texting while driving.

Who exactly can enter the contest?

High school seniors who attend schools in western PA are eligible to participate. Students must be attending a four-year college, university, or trade school beginning in the Summer or Fall of 2013.

What's the entry deadline?

The contest runs through March 29, 2013. All entries must be postmarked on or before March 29, 2013 to be eligible.

I have no ideas for an entry, what should I do?
