"My Bike" Program Brings Holiday Cheer to Local Children with Special Needs

adaptive bikes for kids with special needs

Yesterday, a few of our staff members had the pleasure of volunteering at a very special event held by Variety the Children's Charity of Pittsburgh. Because of Variety's "My Bike" program, over 75 children with disabilities received custom bikes specially designed for their physical needs.

Riding a bike is an everyday pleasure for most people, but not for these children. Our staff said that seeing the kids' faces light up with excitement as they were given their first bike was wonderful. Their families were thrilled, and the entire presentation was extremely emotional for everyone involved.

You can help give this special experience to even more kids. Our law firm has teamed up with Variety to help raise funds for the "My Bike" program. You can be a part of our efforts – just do one of these three things:

On Facebook: Visit the Edgar Snyder & Associates fan page and ‘like' the Variety "Likes for Bikes" tab. We'll donate $1 for every like.

On Twitter: Simply tweet "#Tweet4Bikes @edgarsnyder." Each tweet and retweet will count as a $1 donation.

On Pinterest: Every re-pin of this image will also donate $1 to Variety's "My Bike" program.

Please join us to help Variety make dreams come true for more local children with disabilities.
