We're gearing up for another season of Road Radio USA shows and our firm is excited to take the program to more western PA schools. For those of you who aren't familiar with Road Radio, it's a multi-media assembly that uses music, lights, and education to teach middle school students the dangers of underage drinking, drunk driving, and other destructive behaviors.
Here are our upcoming shows:
Feb. 28 – Red Bank High School
March 1 – West Forest Jr/Sr High School
March 2 – East Forest Jr/Sr High School
March 3 – Westlake Middle School
March 4 – Walnut Creek Middle School
April 18 – Burgettstown Middle School
April 28 – Fayette County Drug & Alcohol Commission
April 29 – Fayette County Drug & Alcohol Commission
There's no real way to describe how much of an impact this program has on the students – you have to see it to believe it. Their reactions are amazing, and we get a ton of feedback from students, teachers, and school administrators on how much the show affected them. I'll let some of their words speak for themselves:
"You had the coolest assembly I have ever been to. It was really fun with lots of good music and it also got the message through that alcohol is bad. No matter where you go, people will love Road Radio."
Steel Valley Student
"I have never seen our students more engaged, motivated, and captured by a presentation as they were during Road Radio USA."
Shade-Central City High School Principal
"When you actually hear a true story and meet someone who almost died because of a stupid decision, it really opens your eyes. Road Radio USA taught us a lot, and we had fun learning at the same time."
Altoona Area Junior High Student
