Chicken isn't as safe as you might think, according to a study conducted by Consumer Reports magazine. Their analysis found that two-thirds of the 382 chickens bought from more than 100 food stores harbored salmonella and/or campylobacter.

Toyota recall

Toyota, already under pressure over gas pedal malfunctions in some of its cars, has been dealt another blow. Japanese officials have ordered the company to investigate complaints that the brakes on its 2010 Prius model sometimes failed to work immediately on bumpy or slippery roads.

Toyota has launched its largest recall ever due to sliding floor mats that may have caused a fatal crash in Texas. The automaker has warned the owners of millions of Toyota and Lexus vehicles to remove the driver's side floor mat immediately.
