2013 “Words to Be Heard” Scholarship Contest Media Resources
The law firm of Edgar Snyder & Associates held its 7th annual “Words to Be Heard” Scholarship Contest. Over 300 local high school seniors submitted projects that discourage underage drinking, drunk driving, and texting while driving. Katherine Zhou from North Allegheny Senior High School took the grand prize and won a $5,000 scholarship. Three second-place finishers each received $2,500, and three runners-up each received $1,000 to put toward their college education.
