PA Workers’ Comp Payments Increase

August 2005

Pennsylvania’s injured workers lead the pack in worker’s compensation benefits. The latest report released by the National Academy of Social Insurance (NASI) indicates Pennsylvania’s total workers’ compensation cash benefits and medical care increased by 3.7 percent in 2003. The increase in work comp benefits and medical care was higher than the national average of 3.2 percent.
