Trafford Middle School Student Wins Road Radio USA Quiz Contest

(Trafford, PA) Elizabeth Carlin, a sixth grade student at Trafford Middle School, is the grand-prize winner of the Edgar Snyder & Associates Road Radio USA Quiz contest. Elizabeth won a Nintendo Wii after she and nearly 1,000 other middle-school students took an online quiz to test what they learned about underage drinking after a Road Radio school assembly sponsored by Edgar Snyder & Associates. "I thought the Road Radio Show was great!  I wanted to learn more so I went to the web site.  I think this is a really cool show," stated Elizabeth.

Road Radio USA is a multi-media assembly that combines music, lights and education in a format that reaches teens and pre-teens to prevent them from underage drinking and other destructive behaviors. According to Attorney Edgar Snyder, “If this program prevents just one young person from abusing alcohol, it’s worth it.” Road Radio USA, presented in cooperation with Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, visited 17 schools this school year in the Pittsburgh area. Another lucky winner will be chosen in May after the show visits schools in Erie and Altoona, PA.
