Ride Your Bike to Work Day
July 2006
This year’s 15th Annual “Ride to Work Day” is scheduled for Wednesday, July 19, 2006. This is the day motorcyclists everywhere show the world that their bikes are an effective means of transportation and that many types of people ride bikes.
Edgar Snyder & Associates wants you to have a safe and fun “Ride to Work” day. Before starting your engines consider these bike safety tips:
- Wear your proper riding gear including long sleeved shirts, gloves, long pants, and boots.
- Even though it isn’t the law in Pennsylvania, we recommend wearing a helmet.
- Eye protection approved by the Department of Motor Vehicles is always required.
- Watch out for any debris that may cause hazardous driving conditions.
- Don’t ride if you are under the influence of drugs, alcohol or prescriptions.
If you keep these tips in mind, your commute to work should be a roaring good time.
