Hydroxycut Products Linked to Liver Damage Says FDA

Immediately stop using Hydroxycut products made by Iovate, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has warned consumers. According to the agency, some of the products can cause serious liver injuries and other health problems, and Iovate has recalled a number of products.
The FDA has received 23 reports of adverse events, ranging from jaundice to damage that required a liver transplant. One death has been linked to the products so far. Other health problems that have been reported include: seizures; cardiovascular disorders; and rhabdomyolysis, a type of muscle damage that can lead to serious complications like kidney failure. Liver damage was reported by patients who were using the recommended dosage of Hydroxycut.
Hydroxycut products are dietary supplements that are marketed as weight loss aids. The following products have been recalled:
