Edgar Snyder & Associates Represents Victim of Ohio Salmonella Outbreak

(Pittsburgh, PA) A lawsuit was filed on February 15 on behalf of an Ohio woman diagnosed with salmonella after eating at Corky & Lenny’s restaurant in Woodmere, OH. Jeanne Silver, a Cleveland-area victim of salmonella food poisoning, is represented by Attorney Richard Rosenthal, managing partner for Edgar Snyder & Associates, as well as Marler Clark, a Seattle-based law firm that concentrates in foodborne illness litigation, and Mark Wintering, a Cleveland attorney. Ms. Silver was hospitalized as an inpatient after eating at the popular Corky & Lenny’s deli, which closed voluntarily last Friday to allow the Cuyahoga County Board of Health to investigate probable causes of the salmonellosis outbreak. Including Ms. Silver, the Board of Health confirmed 23 cases of people ill with salmonella poisoning to date. Another 71 people are being evaluated for salmonella infections.

Edgar Snyder & Associates is a plaintiff’s personal injury law firm with five office locations in Pennsylvania and attorneys licensed to practice in Pennsylvania, Ohio, Maryland and West Virginia. Edgar Snyder & Associates’ experience in foodborne illness legal claims includes representing victims of salmonella and hepatitis A outbreaks.
