$500,000 Jury Verdict for Injured Construction Worker

Our client, a 41-year-old construction worker, slipped and fell off unfinished prefabricated stairs while attempting to reach the second story of a building that was under construction. These stairs were also lacking a temporary handrail. As a result of the fall, he injured his elbow and required a partial elbow replacement.

The jury found the general contractor to be primarily responsible for our client's fall. Our client was awarded $500,000.  Attorney Todd Berkey represented our client in this case.
