Attorney Edgar Snyder and Partners Named 2009 PA Super Lawyers®

For the sixth consecutive year, Attorney Edgar Snyder has been named a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer®, an honor awarded to the top five percent of state-wide lawyers. Attorney Snyder is joined in earning the 2009 Super Lawyer® distinction by his partners, Attorney Todd Berkey, Attorney Cynthia Danel, Attorney Dennis Liotta, Attorney Richard Rosenthal, and Attorney Michael Rosenzweig. Each Super Lawyer® is chosen by their peers as being among the best in the profession.

Only the top five percent of Pennsylvania attorneys are named Super Lawyers® based on votes from attorneys throughout the state who nominated the best lawyers they have observed in action. An attorney-led research staff reviews the nominees' credentials, licensure, and standing with the Bar, assigning points based upon defined evaluation criteria. A Blue Ribbon panel of attorneys then scores the top vote-getters, who are divided according to practice area.

"I am honored to receive this award along with my partners, particularly because our colleagues recognized our team’s work on behalf of our clients," said Attorney Snyder, who founded the law firm of Edgar Snyder & Associates in 1982.

Attorneys Danel, Rosenthal, and Rosenzweig received top 50 distinctions in addition to the Super Lawyer® honor. Attorney Danel was named one of the top 50 attorneys in Pittsburgh and for the second consecutive year was named one of the top 50 women attorneys in Pennsylvania. Attorneys Rosenthal and Rosenzweig were honored as two of the top 50 attorneys in Pittsburgh for the second year in a row.
