Target Toys Recalled
November 2006
Just in time for the holiday shopping season, Target has recalled 7,100 "Play Wonder" Puzzle Tables for choking and laceration hazards as well as approximately 190,500 of their various "Kool Toyz" children's products for lead and laceration hazards.
The handles on the “Play Wonder” puzzle pieces can come off and become lodged in a child’s throat. The tips of the nails on the inside of the puzzle table may stick out and pose a laceration hazard. The recalled item number is 204/12/0162 and is located in the front upper right corner of the package.
The "Kool Toyz" toy recall includes sets containing die-cast cars, playground sets, doll house sets, dinosaurs, trucks, boats and planes. These toys may contain lead paint, which is toxic if ingested by young children and can cause serious health effects. Some of these toys also have sharp points posing a laceration hazard.
