Stuffed Toy Cars Recalled
March 2006
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), in cooperation with Kids Preferred LLC, recalled 3,500 toy vehicles due to a choking hazard.
The Primary Sounds toy vehicles are soft, stuffed yellow taxis, black and white police cars and red fire engines that each have a silver button on top that makes sounds when pushed. The toy vehicles have four plastic wheels that measure 6-inches in length and 5-inches in width. The wheels and hubcaps can detach from the toy creating a choking risk.
The toy vehicles were sold at Kohl’s Department Stores and specialty retailers nationwide from September 2005 through January 2006 for around $12. Consumers should stop using the toys and contact Kids Prefferred LLC at 866-763-8869 for a refund.
