Bausch & Lomb Face Contact Lens Solution Lawsuit

Contact lens wearers who came down with a serious eye infection after using Bausch & Lomb lens solution filed a class-action lawsuit against the manufacturer. The victims suffered dangerous eye infections that prompted Bausch & Lomb to voluntarily pull its ReNu with MoistureLoc from the shelves.

Investigators are still looking into the 109 cases of Fusarium keratitis, a rare fungal infection that can cause permanent blindness if not treated. Of those cases, 26 claimed to have used Bausch & Lomb contact lens solution or its generic version.
