LEGO Recalls Toy Trucks

LEGO Systems, Inc. recalled over 358,000 toy trucks after reports of hazardous incidents involving children and the toys. The plastic wheels on the LEGO EXPLORE Super Truck can detach leaving a piece of metal exposed. Injuries include serious puncture wounds to children.
The LEGO EXPLORE Super Truck is designed for children 18-months and up. The toy is a red plastic dump truck with floor black wheels, and comes with a box of LEGO bricks in the cargo area. The LEGO logo is printed on the door stickers.
The trucks were sold nationwide at Toys “R” Us and Walmart from August 2002 to August 2004. Consumers should contact LEGO at 1-800-718-1858 for more information.
