Baby Slings Recalled
March 2007
Here’s an urgent recall update for parents who use baby slings. Baby
products manufacturer, Infantino, has issued a recall for approximately
100,000 of its SlingRider infant carriers. A defective plastic slider
may cause the carrier strap to release, sending infants tumbling from
the cloth carrier pouch to the ground.
Product item numbers are printed on labels inside of the SlingRider. The following product numbers are affected by the recall:
- 141-210
- 151-210
- 151-528
- 151-534
The carriers are sold through Target, Babies ”R” Us, and other national retail outlets, as well as through catalogs and over the Internet.
