COMPLETE MoisturePLUS Contact Solution Recall

Months following a Bausch & Lomb contact solution recall, Advanced Medical Optics, Inc. (AMO) has recalled certain lots of their COMPLETE MoisturePLUS multipurpose contact solution and Active Packs. The recall was prompted by reports from Japan of bacterial contamination in lots produced at the same manufacturing plant in China that also produced 18 lots of the solution distributed in the U.S.

The products included in the recall are COMPLETE MoisturePLUS Active Packs, COMPLETE MoisturePLUS 12 oz., COMPLETE MoisturePLUS 2 X 12 oz.
Len wearers who experience symtoms of an eye infection such as redness, pain, tearing, blurry vision, or discharge and swelling should consult their eye care doctor immediately. Consumers who have the recalled product should discontinue use immediately and call 1-877-884-7779 for more information.
