SUVs Get Top Test Scores

In the most recent government crash tests, seven sport utility vehicles (SUVs) received the highest ratings.
The seven SUVs were awarded five-star ratings for front-end and side impact tests on both the driver’s and passenger’s sides.
The 2006 SUV models include:
- Ford Explorer
- Honda Pilot
- Hyundai Tucson
- Mercedes Benz ML-class
- Nissan Murano
- Subaru Tribeca
Although these SUVs passed the front-end and side-impact tests with flying colors, they did not receive five stars in the rollover testing category.
