GM Recalls Cars and Trucks

General Motors Corp. has announced that it will recall 944,000
vehicles that pose
a safety risk to drivers. The sport utility vehicles, cars, and
trucks have a problem with the windshield wiper fluid system that could
lead to a fire.
The recall affects vehicles with a heated washer fluid system and includes the following models:

A short circuit in the vehicles' washer fluid system can cause electrical features to malfunction, possibly leading to an odor, smoke, or fire. According to GM, more than 850,000 vehicles in the United States and 100,000 in Canada, Mexico, and the Middle East are involved in the recall.
