Cadillac, Pontiac, and Saturn Recall

The General Motors Corp has announced a recall of over 275,000 cars in
the United States. These vehicles have a defect that could cause the
rear axle to leak fluid, leading to loss of control and increasing the
risk of a crash.
The following automobiles are included in this recall:

The recall has been prompted by a manufacturer’s defect in the rear axle pinion seal. The faulty seal may experience a fluid leak, leading to a rear differential failure. In certain cases, this failure may cause the driver to lose control of the vehicle and crash the car.
