Cadillac, Pontiac, and Saturn Recall

December 2007

Cars recalled by GM The General Motors Corp has announced a recall of over 275,000 cars in the United States. These vehicles have a defect that could cause the rear axle to leak fluid, leading to loss of control and increasing the risk of a crash.

The following automobiles are included in this recall:

    Make / Model:

  • Cadillac CTS
  • Cadillac SRX
  • Cadillac STS
  • Pontiac Solstice
  • Saturn Sky
    Model Years:

  • 2005-2007
  • 2005-2007
  • 2005-2007
  • 2006-2007
  • 2007

The recall has been prompted by a manufacturer’s defect in the rear axle pinion seal. The faulty seal may experience a fluid leak, leading to a rear differential failure. In certain cases, this failure may cause the driver to lose control of the vehicle and crash the car.
