Hawaii Motorcycle Helmet Law

Hawaii requires all motorcycle drivers and riders who are 18 and older to wear helmets that are securely fastened with a chin strap.
In addition, all drivers and riders must wear safety glasses, goggles, or a face shield if the motorcycle does not have a windscreen or windshield.
The Director of Highway Safety is permitted to adopt rules concerning the required use of any other protective devices, except helmets.
To be sure you’re in compliance with Hawaii law, check with the Director before taking to the open road.
