New Hampshire Motorcycle Helmet Law

New Hampshire requires only those motorcycle drivers and passengers under 18 to wear helmets of the type approved by its Director of Motor Vehicles.

Although the Director has the power to approve different types of motorcycle helmets, the New Hampshire legislature passed a law that requires all motorcycle helmets to be equipped with either a neck or chin strap.
