Colorado Motorcycle Helmet Law
Colorado does not require adult motorcycle drivers or passengers to wear helmets. All operators and passengers under 18 years of age must wear helmets.
It does, however, require both operators and riders to wear goggles or eyeglasses with lenses made of safety glass or plastic.
The Colorado Department of Revenue is responsible for adopting standards and specifications for the design of the goggles and eyeglasses.
Because these standards and specifications are subject to change, it's advisable to check with the Department before taking to Colorado roadways on a motorcycle.
