Dangerous Drug Alert: Dietary Supplement Ephedra
Please note: The Ephedra information on our site is for reference only. Due to Statute of Limitations requirements, our firm no longer accepts Ephedra drug claims for individuals injured as adults. However, some exceptions may apply to those injured by Ephedra as minors.
Ephedra Linked to Over 100 Deaths
By order of the FDA, all sales of Ephedra were ceased on April 12, 2004. Ephedra became the first dietary supplement banned by the Federal Drug Administration (FDA).
The FDA also reiterated its warning to consumers: Do not take any products containing Ephedra that you may have already purchased. "They are simply too risky," said FDA Commissioner Mark McClellan.
