Web Designer / Graphic Designer

Note: This is a paid internship.

Would you like a chance to work at one of the most well-branded companies in western Pennsylvania? Edgar Snyder & Associates, a personal injury law firm, is looking for a web design/graphic design intern to be an integral part of the firm’s marketing team, which functions like an in-house advertising agency. This is a great way to build up your resume, experience, and portfolio. The internship will offer much more than just fictional class projects — you’ll see your work published.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Design of web ads and banners
Website design
Design and production of printed publications
Design of print advertisements
Design of outdoor artwork, including billboards, bus shelters and transit ads
Video filming and editing
Photography
Ad specialty items
And more…

Requirements

Must be organized, detail-oriented and a team player
Ability to meet deadlines, handle multiple projects, and work effectively under pressure
Proficiency with InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Flash
Experience working in a WordPress environment
HTML/CSS skills
Photography skills
Experience with the print production process a plus
Video filming and editing skills a plus, preferably experience with Final Cut Pro
Familiarity with PHP or Javascript/jQuery a plus
