Web Designer / Graphic Designer

Note: This is a paid internship.

Would you like a chance to work at one of the most well-branded companies in western Pennsylvania? Edgar Snyder & Associates, a personal injury law firm, is looking for a web design/graphic design intern to be an integral part of the firm’s marketing team, which functions like an in-house advertising agency. This is a great way to build up your resume, experience, and portfolio. The internship will offer much more than just fictional class projects — you’ll see your work published.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design of web ads and banners
• Website design
• Design and production of printed publications
• Design of print advertisements
• Design of outdoor artwork, including billboards, bus shelters and transit ads
• Video filming and editing
• Photography
• Ad specialty items
• And more…

Requirements

• Must be organized, detail-oriented and a team player
• Ability to meet deadlines, handle multiple projects, and work effectively under pressure
• Proficiency with InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Flash
• Experience working in a WordPress environment
• HTML/CSS skills
• Photography skills
• Experience with the print production process a plus
• Video filming and editing skills a plus, preferably experience with Final Cut Pro
• Familiarity with PHP or Javascript/jQuery a plus
