Rear-Facing Car Seat
Law states no preference
Car Seat
Children ages 7 and under must be properly restrained in an appropriate child safety seat.
Booster Seat
Children ages 7 and under must be properly restrained in an appropriate child safety seat.
Seat Belt
- Ages 15 and under must be restrained regardless of seating position.
- Children 7 years and younger who are taller than 4' 9".
- Children who weigh more than 40 pounds who are in a seating position where there is only a lap belt available.
Seating Position
Children in rear-facing devices must be in a rear seat if available. Iif not available, they may be placed in front only if the front passenger airbag is deactivated.
