Rear-Facing Car Seat
Law states no preference.
Car Seat
Infants through children age 7 who weigh less than 80 pounds must be properly restrained in an appropriate child safety seat in all seating positions.
Booster Seat
Infants through children age 7 who weigh less than 80 pounds must be properly restrained in an appropriate child safety seat in all seating positions.
Seat Belt
- Children 8 through 15 years.
- Children ages 7 and under who are between 40 and 80 pounds may be restrained by a lap safety belt if there is no lap/shoulder belt present.
Seating Position
Children ages 4 and under who weigh less than 40 pounds must occupy the back seat if there is an active front passenger-side air bag (unless restrained in a child safety seat designed for use with air bags).
