ReNu MoistureLoc Linked to Serious Eye Infection, Blindness.

The Food & Drug Administration (FDA) ordered Bausch & Lomb to pull its ReNu MoistureLoc contact solution from the shelves due to a link with a serious eye infection. Note that some dollar stores are still selling the product.

The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) reported to the FDA that there are at least 130 confirmed cases of Fusarium Keratitis. The rare fungal infection of the eye can lead to serious vision problems, and even blindness.
