Boating Accidents
In 1998, the primary cause of boating accidents nationwide was operator
inattention, followed by carelessness, inexperience, speeding, and
failure to have a proper lookout.
However, some boating accidents are caused by a defect in the boat. When an injury results because of the defective or dangerous condition of a boat, the injured person may have third party lawsuit case against the manufacturer of the boat.
If you're like most people, you aren't sure what to do after an accident. You are probably asking questions like:
- Who will pay for my medical bills, lost wages, and pain and suffering?
- What money can I get right now to help me?
- What papers should I sign or not sign? Do I need an attorney?
