Edgar Snyder & Associates
“Words to be Heard” Scholarship Contest

UPDATE: Due to the amount of essays we received, the judging is taking longer than expected. We hope to make an announcement in the next week or two. Thank you for your patience.

Edgar Snyder & Associates will hold their 2nd Annual “Words to be Heard” Scholarship contest. We are asking high school seniors in Central PA and Erie to write a proposal for a program that would effectively teach pre-teens and teenagers the consequences of underage drinking.

Two grand prize scholarships of $2,500 will be given--one to a student in the Erie area and one to a student from the Central PA area. We will also be selecting two second place winners in each market to receive $1,000 scholarships. In addition, three $500 scholarships will be given in both the Erie and Central PA region.
