"My Winter Wonderland of Fun" Coloring Contest

Coloring Contest Winners

Twelve-year-old Devontay Sirmons Green of Pittsburgh, Pa., won the second annual Edgar Snyder & Associates coloring contest. Participants were encouraged to draw their favorite winter scene for this year’s theme, “My Winter Wonderland of Fun.” Devontay’s creativity and hard work won him a Toys “R” Us gift card for a shopping spree and a $1,000 donation to Mercy Hospital’s Pediatric Ward in his honor.

Devontay’s colorful artwork depicting snowmen and gently falling snowflakes appears as the cover of the Edgar Snyder & Associates 2005 holiday card. A panel of judges, including artists and art instructors, chose four winning entries. Runners-up who won toy shopping sprees include: 11-year-old Keleigh Lynn Poling of South Fork, Pa., 12-year-old Jason Collins of Moatsville, WV., and 13-year-old John Pickerd of Butler, Pa.
