Edgar’s Story

You probably know Edgar Snyder’s face from television commercials or billboard ads, pointing his index finger and proclaiming “there’s never a fee, unless we get money for you.” But what you probably don’t know is how he became the premier injury lawyer in Pennsylvania.

A Promising Start…

In 1966 Edgar graduated from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. Before opening his first office in the steel town of Duquesne, Pennsylvania, he started out as an Allegheny County public defender. He then became a criminal trial attorney, representing several high-profile clients in highly publicized cases. It was during this time that Edgar began representing accident victims in personal injury cases.

Edgar Hits the Airwaves…

In 1982, with the help of his wife, Sandy, the firm's marketing director, Edgar discovered the power of advertising. Soon, Edgar’s television ads about free legal help with personal injury claims were making him a household name throughout Pennsylvania communities. As Edgar’s reputation as a caring but tough injury attorney grew, so did his legal practice. Today, Edgar Snyder & Associates has five offices across Pennsylvania and is recognized for being a leading personal injury law firm.

Drunk Driving Awareness

Edgar also uses television to create paid public service announcements that raise awareness and discourage drunk driving. The law firm represents many victims of alcohol-related accidents and sees first hand the devastation it can cause. In an attempt to save others from that devastation, Edgar Snyder & Associates believes in the responsibility of sponsoring a variety of community service projects that spread the message: Don't Drink and Drive.
